Air Filter Sponge SIP Double-Layer
INFORMATION
The SIP PERFORMANCE Double-layer Filters have two layers. The first layer has medium-sized pores to filter rough dust particles. The second layer has very small pores that can also filter dust particles of microscopically small size - it’s these that cause the major damage. The filters are made of self-extinguishing polyurethane foam. Their two layers are joined together by means of a special hot forming process that does not manipulate the filtering properties. The first layer is made of red filter material: open polyurethane foam with a permeance of 45 PPI (pores per inch). The second layer comes in black filter material: open polyurethane foam with a permeance of 60 PPI (pores per inch).
These air-filter elements complement tuned engines, complete with performance exhausts, transmissions, etc., excellently. Due to their noticeably improved filtering and unbeatable pricing, they are also suitable as replacements for worn original items when servicing the engine. They are pre-oiled and require no extra preparation before use.
